The Sheikh Ali Villa in Rawda, Kuwait is conceived as a contemporary private residence organized around a sequence of sculptural white volumes, warm stone-clad elements and protected internal courtyards. The composition creates a strong architectural identity while responding to the need for privacy, shade and controlled views within the dense residential context.
The spatial concept connects interior living spaces directly with landscaped courtyards, water features and double-height glazed areas. Natural light is brought deep into the house while the façade remains carefully controlled toward the street. White rendered surfaces, reddish-brown stone cladding, large glazed openings and restrained landscaping create a calm material language that balances monumentality with comfortable family living.

Materiality & Façade Identity
The villa is organized around protected internal courtyards that separate public, family and private zones while maintaining strong visual connections. Carefully positioned openings and recessed entrances provide privacy from the street without compromising daylight inside.
Double-height glazing, landscaped courtyards and integrated water features bring natural light deep into the residence. These internal spaces create a cooler microclimate and strengthen the relationship between interior living areas and outdoor spaces.
Crisp white rendered volumes are contrasted with warm reddish-brown stone cladding, large glazed surfaces and restrained landscaping. Deep recesses, projecting forms and shaded openings give the villa a distinctive contemporary identity suited to Kuwait’s climate.
